World-leading engine designs

The primary activities in Copenhagen are the development, design, licensing and servicing of two-stroke diesel engines. Since the beginning of this century, licensees have produced engines to our specifications and drawings. The total production of MAN B&W engines, including both our own production and licensed productions, places MAN B&W in the leading position on the world market.

We moved into the new headquarters for MAN B&W Diesel's Danish activities in September 1994. The building, which looks out over Copenhagen harbour, provides a stimulating and modern working environment for our Copenhagen staff. The production facilities for components and spare parts, and the Research Centre with its specially designed research engine, are both situated close by.
