World-leading GenSet design

The Holeby Works, established in 1883, produced its first stationary diesel plant as long ago as 1910. Since 1980 the company has been a member of MAN B&W Diesel, a world leader in the development and production of diesel engines.

Holeby is MAN B&W Diesel’s centre for GenSets in the 500 - 4,000 kW power range. The total rated capacity of the engines produced annually at Holeby and under licence around the world is approx. 500,000 kW, corresponding to Holeby's world-leading market share of 50%.

Over the years Holeby has introduced a series of innovations - many now standard diesel engineering practice - designed to provide secure power supplies at the lowest possible operating cost.

We are still supplying parts for Holeby engines produced more than 50 years ago - clear evidence of our commitment to uncompromising quality in design and manufacture. The works is ISO 9001 certified.

Service
Holeby’s engineers stay with every project from concept development, through manufacture and installation, to follow-up. MAN B&W Diesel's global network of licensees, service centres, authorised repair shops and agents ensures our customers prompt and effective attention all over the world.
