B&W Museum

The B&W Museum (The MAN B&W Archives) established in 1946, is housed in a warehouse building dating from 1789 in central Copenhagen which provides a fine setting for the extensive collection of ship models and cut-away working models of B&W diesel engines.

These models show examples of how the diesel engine has evolved from the early type, with a modest output of 40 hp, to the huge engines of today, which have capacity for propelling the largest commercial vessels in the world.
